Which One Of These Celebrities Has The Worst Taste In Cars?

Having money doesn’t mean good taste!

When we do these celebrity car lists, we typically look for lesser known enthusiasts. That means no major celebs who we already know love cars and no athletes. Now we have already taken a look at some celebrities with good taste in cars. This list will be a little bit different. Here we are focusing on celebrities with terrible taste in cars, and this time athletes are fair game! We will be looking for ugly wraps, distasteful wheel and tire combinations, and flat out bad cars. Just because these people are rich doesn’t mean they have good taste in autos.

We get this list started off right away with an athlete. Chad Johnson, or Chad Ochocinco, was a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, and Miami Dolphins. Most NFL players like to buy Bentleys and Lamborghinis and black them out. It seems that Johnson hasn’t done too well with his money in his post-NFL days. How else can you explain this Smart Fortwo? This is proof that not every car looks badass just because you cover it in darkness. Of course small cars can be great. The Fiat 500 Abarth is actually one of the best sounding cars on the market. However, we don’t think that a blacked-out Smart car is the ideal ride for a former NFL athlete.

How do we explain this next celebrity? Jeffree Star is an American singer-songwriter, makeup artist, fashion designer and model from Orange County, California. He began his career on MySpace.com and is known for his unique, gender-bending appearance. Obviously the guy has a thing for pink. He even dyed his hair in the color! Unfortunately, his BMW i8 and Z4 were subjected to the same treatment as his hair. We think that some cars can be cool in pink, mainly Cadillacs. However, we don’t think that these BMWs are well-suited to the color. We get that Star likes to be unique, but painting two BMWs pink is always going to be a bad idea.

Now we move back to yet another athlete. Josh Gordon of the Cleveland Browns was the NFL’s leading receiver back in 2013. Unfortunately due to off the field issues, Gordon was suspended for 10 games in 2014 and the entire season in 2015. Gordon has shown that he is very talented, but might not be able to control his off-field issues with drugs and alcohol. Not to rub more salt in the wound, but it seems that his poor judgement with substances carries over to a poor taste in cars. Gordon is the owner of a awfully camouflaged Porsche Panamera with orange wheels. Not many people love the Panamera to begin with, so Gordon’s paint didn’t help matters. This thing is seriously ugly.

We wrap up this list by pointing out one of the weirdest trends in Hollywood. Many celebrities want to appear to be eco-friendly (for some reason). In order to do this, they go out and buy a Prius. By sacrificing style, speed, luxury, and dignity, Prius owners can appear to be eco-conscious. Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the many celebrities who has fallen into this trap. Not only has he owned a Prius, he also purchased a Fisker Karma. We all know how well things worked out for that company. If DiCaprio really wants people to see that he cares about the environment, there are much better cars to do it in than a Prius. Come on, Leo! Buy a P1 or 918! They are basically the same as your Prius.
