The luxury Japanese automaker has introduced the all new LC 500h earlier this week and now the automaker is back with the full detail spreadsheet for the model, alongside fresh pictures and some video footage.

As always these days, the rumor mill nailed the specifications right on the LC 500h, which comes to the party with a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine mated to an electric motor which is being linked to the lithium-ion battery pack. Also on point is a four-speed automatic transmission with a manual mode. The internal combustion engine delivers 295 horsepower (220 kilowatts) at 6,600 rpm and 257 pound-feet (348 Newton meters) at 4,900 rpm, while the e-motor ads another 60 hp (44.6 kilowatts). The flagship hybrid coupe thus has a combined output of 354 hp (264 kilowatts), enabling it to handle the zero to 62 miles (100 kilometers) per hour in no more than five seconds. The powertrain is Lexus’ “Multi Stage Hybrid System” and all the power is sent in the right direction – the rear axle, for a fun to drive experience of the 2+2 coupe.

The automaker has decided to use aluminum to save some weight, with the hood, fenders, door skins, front suspension towers made out of the material, while there’s also a carbon fiber roof and a carbon & glass composite trunk lid. The parts are all meshed together to the carbon fiber structure and even the alloys can be changed to optional 20- or 21-inch forged aluminum wheels to cut weight even further. The lithium-ion battery pack weighs 110 pounds (50 kilograms) and has been mated to a newly developed lightweight electric motor that is also more compact. The Lexus LC 500h is 187.4-inches (4760-mm) long, 75.5-inches (1920-mm) wide, 53-inches (1345-mm) tall, and the wheelbase stands in at 113 inches (2870 mm). Other highlights include the new multi-link front suspension with two upper and two lower control arms with double ball joints on each arm.
