Toyta Land Cruiser-inspired Crown sounds like a good idea

Theophilus Chin has imagined a possible look for the new generation Toyota Crown.

The Malaysian automotive manipulator rendered two versions of the flagship model for the Japanese company, both featuring the front end of the recently facelifted Land Cruiser. One is based on the current 14th generation Crown with its body and wheels, while the other one is sexier and is uses the body of the Lexus LS.

The current Crown is available on the Japanese market with either a 2.5-liter or a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engines in RWD and AWD configurations. Also offered is a hybrid powerplant with a 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle unit, supported by a high-torque electric. The system output stands at 220 PS (162 kW).
