With Father’s Day arriving on Sunday, June 21, Toyota wants not only to remind you of the occasion, but wish your dad a Happy Father’s Day. According to research, when it comes to Father’s Day, dads usually get the short end of the deal. It has been learned that people spend about $7 billion more for Mother’s Day than for Father’s Day. In fact, many dads are lucky even to get a card or a phone call.
This year, Toyota urges you to be sure to make dad feel special and surprise him with something unexpected – an unforgettable gift or a visit, after all life is made of special moments. Dads love spending time with their kids, which is what inspired Toyota’s #OneBoldChoice launched during this year’s Super Bowl XLIX. Last month, Toyota paired up with director Ivan Cash to conduct “man on the street” interviews in Los Angeles. Everyday people were asked what they had planned for Father’s Day, and the result sent one lucky Los Angeles native on a thousand-mile journey to spend Father’s Day with his dad for the first time in 13 years. The respondent, Phil Eastman, was given the unexpected opportunity to return home to Hyattville, Wyoming (population 75) to surprise his father, courtesy of Toyota.
Why not showcase your wonderful father with photos via your Twitter or Instagram account using #OneBoldChoice compliments of America’s Best-Selling Car. Toyota has been a part of the United States for over fifty years and as for their Camry; they are proud to say that over ninety percent of all Toyota Camrys sold over the last ten years are still on the road. The 2015 Camry has received a five-star rating for safety by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and Camry ranked the Most Dependable Midsize Car by J.D. Power.
