Tundra 1794 to be raffled for Texas Special Olympics

Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) officially announced Toyota as its newest Official Partner this week, making the automaker a year-round statewide $250,000-level co-sponsor. SOTX is the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for more than 55,200 children and adults with intellectual disabilities across the state of Texas.

Toyota and Special Olympics have a long history – almost as long as Toyota’s history in the U.S. – having been a major supporter in Southern California for 30 years. Through its dealers, Toyota has supported Special Olympics in numerous communities across the U.S. over the years. Notably, in 2015, Toyota was the official automotive sponsor of the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles, providing major funding, usage of 400 Toyota vehicles, and more than 600 employee volunteers.

Toyota becomes SOTX’s seventh Official Partner and Statewide Co-Sponsor, joining Coca-Cola, FoodTown, Law Enforcement Torch Run, H-E-B Tournament of Champions, Walmart and UnitedHealthcare in supporting Texas Special Olympics.
