Toyota has announced that it will head to the 2015 SEMA Show with 14 custom vehicles.
The Japanese automaker will focus on showing off its fun side with numerous winning competition cars on display, including the Joe Gibbs’ number-19 Toyota Camry that Carl Edwards piloted to two wins on the Sprint Cup circuit so far this year. Another race car heading to Las Vegas is Ryan Millen’s 2015 Toyota RAV4 that is currently competing in the Rally America series. In addition, the Toyota Ultimate Utility Vehicle (seen above) will make an appearance.
Outside the Toyota booth will be a display of parts and accessories from TRD and a display that highlights classic Toyotas that have been modified by their owners. Among those that will be on display are a 1970 Toyota Crown that won Best of Show at Toyotafest, a 1973 Corolla TE28, a 1985 Corolla GT-5 Hachiroku that has been featured in numerous media, and a pair of custom Supras, one from model year 1988 and another from 1995.
There’s a few surprises that Toyota is keeping under wraps and if they’re anything like last year’s sleeper drag Camry, then we can’t wait to see them.
