Toyota Etios Cross Dynamique Variant Set for Launch

A special-edition version of the Toyota Etios Cross is set to be launched soon by the Japanese carmaker in India in order to boost flagging sales for the crossover. This variant, to be called Etios Cross Dynamique, will receive a few cosmetic tweaks to its exterior and interiors, and a few additional features.

Toyota, however, will continue to use the same set of engines which do duty in the current model. The Toyota Etios Cross comes with 2 petrol engine options, 1.2 and 1.5 litre, and a 1.4-litre diesel unit. The 1.2-litre petrol mill has a power output of 79bhp and 104Nm of torque, the 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 89bhp and 132Nm of torque, and the 1.4-litre diesel unit has a power output of 67bhp and 170Nm of torque. All of these engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

As for the changes to the exterior, the Dynamique variant gets black accents on the roof rails, ORVMs, door handles, and a ‘Dynamique’ badge on the C-pillar. It will available in 2 exterior colour options – Inferno Orange and White.

Inside, the crossover will get dual-tone upholstery depending on the exterior colour chosen. The Inferno Orange exterior shade comes with black and orange upholstery, while the White model will get dual-tone black and greige upholstery. The Inferno Orange option also gets a black and orange colour combination for the steering wheel, seat covers and floor mats.

Toyota will also equip the car with rear parking sensors and footwell lighting – orange for the Inferno Orange paint shade and blue for the White one.
