The European unit of the Japanese automaker has the Yaris small class hatchback as one of its best selling products – and the latest enhancements will debut in front of the audience at the 2015 IAA Frankfurt motor show.

The series of updates for the 2016 model year of the B Class hatchback include an updated Style version that now comes with a black honeycomb grille and satin chrome exterior accents, as well as a fog light surrounding. It will be offered on hybrid models as well from now on and the interior also gains new, all-Black seat upholstery and Piano Black inserts. Toyota is now expecting that Yaris sales will expand above the 200,000 units mark this year, with a market share of the European segment of 6.6 percent. They saw the sales increase after June’s introduction of the Toyota Safety Sense system to the Yaris range – with top active and passive safety systems for the segment.

Based on the Style model variant, there’s also a new for 2016 “Bi-Tone” option that has dual tones for the paint job – one of them a black ‘wrap-around’ – and certain exclusive interior amenities and finishes. The black surround paint is used to finish the roof, A pillars, door mirror caps, the upper side of the front wing ant the hood’s leading edge and can be mated to Pearl White, Platinum Bronze or Barcelona Red exterior colors. The cabin comes in three different choices: black, Warm Grey or Soft-gradation Grey. The enhanced 2016 Yaris will be presented in front of the public during the 2015 IAA Frankfurt motor show.
