The range-topping model was introduced in the UK back in 2008 as a replacement for the Land Cruiser Amazon. Priced at 55,595 GBP, the model never achieved its sales goal and that’s the reason why the Japanese company has decided to end its life.
The Land Cruiser V8 was offered in the UK with a 4.4-liter V8 engine, generating 650 Nm of torque.
In US, the same model was recently refreshed, gaining a new 5.7-liter V8 with 381 bhp (284 kW) and 543 Nm (401 lb-ft) of torque. It also has a new eight-speed automatic transmission, improving the overall fuel efficiency.
