SEMA: Lexus LC 500

SEMA: Lexus LC 500

Lexus has revealed the first customized LC 500, created by Gordon Ting at Beyond Marketing.

The racing-inspired build features unique body elements including custom fender flares, front and rear diffusers, side skirts and a rear wing. The black trim contrasts against a Gloss Yellow wrap.

Underneath the reworked aesthetics, the tuned LC features a new KW Suspension system with hydraulic lift and a height-adjustable spring kit. Each corner boasts 22-inch satin charcoal wheels with Pirelli P Zero Nero tires.

The LC 500’s 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 already produces 471 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque in stock form. The SEMA show car has been bored to 5.6 liters and pushed to 525 ponies.

The racing theme is apparent inside, where carbon-fiber Sparco racing seats securely hold the driver and passenger. The Evasive Motorsport interior also boasts a GT3-spec safety cage.

Lexus suggests many of the custom components could be on the market by spring 2017 when the LC first arrives in showrooms.
