A refreshed Lexus IS sedan will make its debut at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show next week.
The Japanese luxury automaker has released the above teaser image showing off the refreshed Lexus IS getting updated headlights and what appears to be a more aggressive front end. According to Lexus, the refreshed IS “will bring exciting breakthroughs based on the Lexus signature L-finesse design philosophy.”
It’s easy to see that Lexus will integrate its triple-L headlights to the IS sedan and it will likely draw inspiration from the new LC coupe.
The current Lexus IS is available in IS200t, IS300 and IS350 forms, all with available F Sport variants. The Lexus IS200t is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 241 horsepower while the IS300 has a 3.5-liter V6 with 255 hp. The range-topping IS350 boasts an eight-speed automatic transmission and a 306-hp powertrain.
