Lexus previews UX Concept’s futuristic cockpit
Lexus has released another teaser preview for its UX Concept, due to make its world debut at the 2016 Paris motor show.
The latest image reveals a futuristic cockpit, showcasing the company’s vision for a next-generation “three dimensional” driving experience. The faceted design places a partition between the front seating positions, though both driver and passenger can view the hologram-style center display.
The instrument binnacle shrouds a transparent globe that presents analog and digital information.
Other featured technologies include electrochromic window glass, camera housings in place of side mirrors, and a removable sound bar built into the passenger-side dashboard.
Earlier teasers point to a bold exterior styling, with an overall shape similar to Toyota‘s C-HR concepts. Additional details could be released ahead of next week’s unveiling event.
