Lexus LS FCV to feature all-wheel drive

Lexus is expected to preview the next-generation LS with an all-new concept at the Tokyo Motor Show but new details are starting to emerge about the production model.

According to Motoring, the company’s range-topping sedan will indeed be offered with a fuel-cell powertrain.¬† While we’ve already heard this before, their sources are indicating the model will also have an all-wheel drive system.

Nothing is official at this point but previous reports have suggested the FCV variant will use an upgraded version of the Toyota Mirai‘s powertrain.¬† However, the model is expected to have a shorter range of approximately 239 miles (384 km) between fill ups.
