Lexus LFA Shooting Brake rendered image
It may be the most practical version of the Lexus LFA yet but you won’t be seeing it in a showroom.
The Lexus LFA is a true supercar. It was built by Toyota and appreciated petrol heads from all over the globe and its exclusivity meant that the automaker could ask a lot of money for it. Now, the LFA is long gone from production and a successor is rumored to hit the market in a few years. But what would you have said to an LFA Shooting Brake? Well, judging by its body style, you could pin it against the Ferrari FF, and we have to say that it looks simply brilliant.
However, since this is nothing more than a simple rendering, don’t expect to see it in a showroom nearby anytime soon. The image posted above has been signed by Rain Prisk Designs (FB) and it’s showing us the supercar in its yellow shade, with some plastic body cladding, a different rear end and an approach that says “ready” for any scenario given, a true ultimate grand tourer. The LFA has been produced between 2010 and 2012 in Motomachi, Toyota City, Japan. It was offered in a two-door coupe body style, with a front mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout, using a 4.8l V10 engine under its hood. The total output stands at 552 HP and 480 Nm of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in 3.7s and a top speed of 326 km/h.
