Lexus IS 200t
If you haven’t seen the new Lexus IS on the road, you must be driving around with your eyes closed. The new and heavily improved Lexus IS has proven to be one of the best Japanese sports sedans to date. But for 2016, Lexus decided to up the ante even more with new engine choices.
While the exterior itself remains nearly identical, it’s under the hood where things really start to get interesting. Gone is the IS 250, and in its place is the new 200t with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and 241 horsepower to boot. That’s a pretty hefty increase over the outgoing 204-horsepower IS 250. Though, if you were looking for an all-wheel driver version, that’s gone too in the 200t.

Moving up from there and you get the IS 300 with all-wheel drive and 255 horsepower. It carries over the same 3.5-liter V6, but gets some new modifications to make it that much better. And at the top of the range (for now), the IS 350 throws down with 306 horsepower and both two-wheel and all-wheel drive options.
Much of the inside has remained unchanged, but you do get an optional Premium Plus Package that includes a power tilt/telescopic steering whee, rain-sensing wipers, and heated steering wheel. How fancy.
