Toyota has just expanded its Yaris hybrid range with the addition of Active and Sport models. The cheapest Yaris hybrid available, the Active model, is on sale now and there’s already some good discounts available online. Here’s everything you need to know to take advantage of the best offer.

The Active hybrid model is extremely frugal, with a claimed 85.6mpg and just 75g/km of CO2 emissions, which makes the hatchback exempt from road tax and, for London drivers, the congestion charge. It’s cheap to run, and thanks to this big discount it’s now a bargain to buy.
Toyota’s reliability record is exceptional, and every Yaris model comes with a five-star Euro NCAP crash test rating and an impressive amount of safety kit as standard, including seven airbags.
There’s plenty of space in the cabin, but plenty of other small cars have classier interiors, and are better to drive, too.
Should I add any options?
Active trim comes equipped with dual-zone climate control, a trip computer, electric front windows and split-folding rear seats. The only optional extras available are paint finishes, priced from £250 to £495.
