The 2017 Toyota 86 will be priced from $30,790 before on-road costs. That’s $800 more than previously, but the manual model gets a small power bump, while all new 86s score re-tuned shock absorbers, improved handling, stability and ride comfort, as well as a new track mode.

Pricing and specifications for the 2017 Holden Barina have been released. The range will start from around $19,000 drive away.

If you’ve been thinking about spending $2 million on the upcoming Mercedes-AMG Hypercar, better get in quick. It’s two years away, but almost the entire production run has already been snapped up in pre-orders.

Nissan’s luxury brand has launched a new model, with the big Infiniti Q60 coupe making its debut in Australia this week.

Some new details on the 2018 Ford Mustang have been leaked online by an anonymous source. Word is the 3.7-litre V6 will be dropped and it will have a ten-speed automatic transmission.

Porsche has no intention of making anything smaller than the Macan and 718 Boxster and Cayman to open up a cheaper entry point into the brand, saying its focus is on quality, not quantity.

Hyundai is working hard on a small SUV that will take on the likes of the Mazda CX-3. It’s been spotted out testing and is expected to be launched in the second half of 2017.

The Genesis G80 3.3 T Sport has made its American debut. The updated G80 will launch here next year, but no word yet on whether we’ll see the G80 Sport.

The 2016 World Rally Championship wrapped up in Coffs Harbour last weekend. Volkswagen said goodbye to its involvement with Sebastien Ogier taking out the world title and Andreas Mikkelsen winning the Coffs event. Meantime Hyundai Australia says its focus will remain with WRC and isn’t interested in V8 Supercars.

Honda has applied to patent a new technology that could allow passengers to control the level of window tint, and the area of glass that is tinted with the touch of a finger.
