2015 Toyota Land Cruiser facelift – Official pictures and details

Toyota has officially unveiled the 2015 Land Cruiser facelift model. On the outside, the Japanese model has received a redesigned front grille with an aluminum three-bar configuration that was extended onto the more upscale LED projector-style headlights.

In addition, the front fenders, bumpers and hood have received a subtle nip and tuck. At the rear end we see LED taillights interconnected through a thicker chrome bar. 

Inside the cabin, the new Toyota Land Cruiser facelift comes with better materials, new finishes, modified dials and switches and different buttons. In addition, there is a new storage area on the center cluster, along with a 12V outlet and a wireless charger. The instrument cluster now has a 4.2 inch TFT display while the upper-spec versions will feature a 9 inch display for the infotainment system.

Under the hood, the Toyota Land Cruiser facelift will feature a twin-turbo diesel 4.5 liter unit and a V8 4.6 liter gasoline engine. The diesel comes with a 7 HP bump bringing to power to a total of 272 horsepower while the torque remained the same at 650 Nm. On the gasoline side, the unit is able to deliver 308 horsepower and 439 Nm peak of torque. 

The new Toyota Land Cruiser facelift is already on sale on Japan and will go on sale in Australia in October, followed by other markets shortly.
