Just my uninformed opinion, but not tires as much as alignment, and even more likely, wheel BALANCE. This will make a shimmy appear faster than you can say the word. And sometimes a shimmy doesn’t occur until you hit a certain speed, and then goes nuts.

This vibration could be caused by tires or tire balance not likily
alignment.
