Can anyone suggest ways of covering the holes in dash and steering wheel
after the airbags have blown? Don’t intend to replace due to high cost.
Possibly an auto upholsterer would have an answer . ?
Thanks Bill Martin

Does the insurance cover the replacement and did the air bag prevent a injury?
I know this is not a answer to your question, just needed to ask.
It wasn’t insured, but, yes, insurance covers them. In fact was in a
salvage yard recently and the owner stated that many cars come to him
totalled out by insurance companies that would normally have had the cars
repaired. The deciding factor was the excessive costs of replacing
airbags…. To answer your second question: Not sure whether injuries
were prevented or not. Probably were….
