4Runner Speedo Info?

Can someone E-mail me a *.jpg of the location of the speedometer cable on a
`97 4Runner? My speedometer has failed and I cannot determine where on the
transmission the cable enters or whether it is a mechanical or electrical
(transducer) speedometer. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Say could anyone give me some help with an over heating problem?
I have an 1990 toyota tercel 1500 EEE motor carburated. I am having
overheating problems. I have checked the carburater and changed oil and
filters checked the water pump and changed belts. Radiator lookg clean.
It over heats some days and other days does not. Thermostat has been
changed. Could it be a smog device or other malfunctioning?
    Any help very much appreciated.

    Thank You

    Gary

It’s an electrically driven speedometer, and the speed sensor is located on
the tailshaft of the trans. As it is a
’97, it should still be coverd under warranty. Replaced 3 or 4 speed
sensors on mid 90′s trucks in the past year.
