{OT} Markets are indicating no confidence in stimulus plan

That was Brian Williams on the Today Show this morning.

The network that helped Obama get elected reported today that financial
markets are indicating no confidence in the stimulus plan passed last week.

Wow. Where have I heard that before?

From another news service, "This is not the package investors were
expecting."

Mr. President, are you listening?

I think this would be a good idea to have people pay for the roads
they actually use. I think that we should also tax gasoline, too.
After all, how are we going to pay for our troops in Iraq and the
middle east?

Why should the owner of the car that gets 1 mpg pay more to use the
roads than the owner of a car that gets 1000 mpg?

Why is this a bad idea?

Once again we see examples of how the Obama election rhetoric was empty
promises.

Is the manual driver seat (Highlander) difficult to adjust or have
some other positioning disadvantage.

{OT} Illinois politics

Now US Senator Rolland Burrhead is saying he did talk to people about paying
for his seat.

The Senate keeps showing us what a bunch of fuck-ups they are.

We’ve got Dingy Harry Reid
Chuck Shitler of New York
Diane Whinestein of CA
Barbara Boxfucker of CA
Obese One Kennenedy of Mass
John Fucked in the Head Kerry of Mass
Dick the Duck Phucker of Illinois
and now Roland Burrhead of Illinois.

Plus we have the traitors Arlen Spectre of PA, Susan Collins (any relation
to Michael Collins of Ireland?) and Olypmia Snowed-Under.

And former Senator Nobama, Clinton and Damnshit of South Dakota.

Thats 11 out of 100 people worthless, useless and sucking money out of the
federal governmetn anyway, and 3 more that were in the past as senators.

Plus here in Illinois we have two former governors that are out of office.
One’s in jail and the other one should be.  We have a county board president
whose father came from Helena, Arkansas and keeps raising taxes to pay for
his father’s cronies.  We have a mayor that plays Tic Tac Toe with
bulldozers at midnight.

And thanks to the Democratic machine, we can’t vote the bastards out.  Plus
the Republican’t party puts up such piss-weak candidates that no one wants
to vote for them, either.

{OT} something to think about

Especially for the LIEberals of this group.

Die Gedanken sind frei,
wer kann sie erraten;
sie fliehen vorbei
wie naechtliche Schatten.
Kein Mensch kann sie wissen,
kein Jäger sie schießen,
mit pulver und blei,
Die Gedanken sind frei.
Ich denk was ich will,
und was mich begluecket,
Doch alles in der Still,
und wie es sich schicket.
Mein Wunsch und Begehren
kann niemand verwehren,
es bleibet dabei:
Die Gedanken sind frei.
Und sperrt man mich ein
in finsteren Kerker,
das alles sind rein
vergebliche Werke;
denn meine Gedanken
zerreissen die Schranken
und Mauern entzwei:
Die Gedanken sind frei.
Drum will ich auf immer
den Sorgen entsagen
und will mich auf nimmer
mit Grillen mehr plagen.
Man kann ja im Herzen
stets lachen und scherzen
und denken dabei:
Die Gedanken sind frei.

Die Gedanken sind frei,
wer kann sie erraten;
sie fliehen vorbei
