'96 Corolla. Covering airbag holes

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:01 pm

Can anyone suggest ways of covering the holes in dash and steering wheel
after the airbags have blown?  Don’t intend to replace due to high cost.
Possibly an auto upholsterer would have an answer . ?
Thanks           Bill Martin

Sienna Transmission Cooler

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:00 pm

Does anyone know if the transmission cooler fitted to the Sienna as a
part of the tow package can be added to a Sienna not originally so
equipped?  It looks fairly straight forward but is there a factory kit
available?  I’d prefer this approach over the aftermarket units.  Thanks
in advance.

I need to buy soon.

What are your thoughts comparing CAMRAY LE V6 A/t to ’99 ACCORD LX-6 A/T vs
’99 MAXIMA GXE V6 A/T     ALL with ABS Brakes

Any Factory incentives on any of these that you know of?????

Should I expect to pay 90% of Lisp Price?????  I will purchase, not lease

o2 sensor

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:59 pm

I  have an 88 4-runner and the expaust pipe has cracked so I bought a
new one and an O2 sensor as well as as the necessary gaskets. before I
pulled off the old sensor I compared it to the new one and what I had
was a one wire sensor in the box and a 4 wire one on the car but when I
asked my parts store man to double check he said that the one I had was
the only one listed and that he couldn’t find any 4 wire sensors that
were listed for toyota .  Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,  Clueless

Suggestions Please

Could anyone suggest a method of removing the Use Seatbelt Warning stickers on
the visors of my 99 Tecoma. I attemped to peel one off and it was taking the
fabric with it. They look terrible on and I’m afraid it will be a mess if I
pull them off.

Gas Mileage

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:59 pm

I was curious how other people do on Gas mileage.  I have a 1991 4×4 p/u
22re.  I get 17-19mpg, avg.  If any one else has about the same truck and
engine I would appreciate it if you could let me know how you do on gas
mileage.  Thanks!

Need help with Locking diff question

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:58 pm

I have less than 24 hrs to sign away on a 99 Tacoma 4×4, and I need a
few opinions on something thats bothering me.
First off I live in the Northern Oh area with lotsa snow. Now do I
have to have a locking rear diff option on my 99 Tacoma before I can
safely drive in the snow? I need to know if I’m buying a truck thats
going to be worthless once it hits a patch of ice…..
I know the option is available in the TDR pack, and also an alacarte
item.
I had an ’86 Trooper 5spd with 4wd and I never had a problem gettiing
stuck in anything
through many winters, and I dont think it had a locking diff.

Do you love your Sienna?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:02 am

Well do you? I keep reading rave reviews of the Japanese Dodge Caravan but
what am I getting for the 5-10 thousand dollars more (dont get me wrong I am
not going to buy one of those Chrysler mini-lemons) besides Toyota reliability
and resale value. My other choices at the moment are a Subaru Legacy or 98 or
earlier Honda Odyssey. Help Mr Wizard!
