Discussions related to Toyota cars and trucks

How come there isn’t one.  I am considering choices between Lexus, BMW
and Mercedes, but all I can find is Lexus bashing in the later two
news.  It would be nice to go to a NG to discuss questions about the
Lexus without being bashed.

I’m planning to buy a new Corolla and a new Sienna.  Does anyone
have a recommendation on which pacific northwest Toyota dealer
would be the best one with which to deal?

MR2 motor could you send me a private email.  I have a couple of

I just purchased a ’99 Corolla.  Ordinarilly I get a 3rd party alarm
system installed, either an Ungo, or Clifford, installed in my cars.  The
dealer is offering an alarm that appears to have a better warranty, plus
at least as many features.

I can’t find any info on it anywhere on the net, so if you know of it,
please let me know.

It is not a factory standard Toyota alarm syste, but a system called IBEX
remote control auto security system.  Model Pro 300A.

If you’ve had any experience with it, please let me know before I have it
installed.

Hello,

I’ve been looking to buy a 4Runner, but recently was told that the V6
engines are notorious for blowing head gaskets.  Perhaps someone can
answer these questions:

1)  Is this true?
2)  How much difference in power is there between the 6 and 4 cylinder
engines?

I own a 98 Camry XLE with 5K miles.   I have noticed that when the engine is
cold, the auto transmission does not shift to third (high) gear.  After a
quarter mile or so, shifting is normal.  Has anyone experienced this?  Is it
normal operation?

Hi all,
does anybody have expieriences with ARB-Bullbars and ARB-rear bars? I have
some questions regarding this bars about fitting and some noise while
driving.
Any help would be appreciated.
